Bodegas Callia

Bodegas Callia belongs to the MP Wines group, which manages three wineries: Bodegas Callia and Bodega Pyros in San Juan and Bodegas Salentein in Valle de Uco, Mendoza. The current wine cellar is modern and innovative and built under high quality standards, with respect for the region’s historical and landscape heritage. Every detail, such as the native vegetation, was carefully calculated and the construction was carried out using anti-seismic techniques.

The vineyards are located at an altitude of 630 metres in the Tulum Valley where it is warm all year round with limited rainfall of 90 mm per year. The soils of the vineyards have a great variety so there are alluvial, clay, sandy or loamy terroirs. As a result, a wide range of different grapes are planted here: Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Bonarda, Malbec, Chardonnay and Viognier.
